An electric car created in Germany set a new distance record after driving 375 miles without being recharged.

The yellow and purple Audi A2 took seven hours from Munich to Berlin. "No other electric car has gone to such a distance," German Economy Minister Rainer Bruederle commented on the record.

Among other things, the new electric vehicle has four seats and a powerful battery based on KOLIBRI AlphaPolymer Technology.

Just kidding. Sounds sort of impressive, but I didnt really look at the vehicle and its other aspects /shrug.Edit: After reading into the source a bit, it looks much more impressive, especially the 6 minute battery charge time from a DC source. Now if only I could afford more than the steering wheel I´d be set!
